Project: World Olympians Association - Olympic Stories. Paris 2024.​​​​​​​
The WOA commissioned this project to capture a selection of inspiring interviews with olympians sharing their personal stories. The team were based in Oly House, an Olympic House in the centre of Paris, and had to opportunity to document the journeys and challenges of many current and ex-olympians. They also captured vibrant highlights from the exclusive cocktail events celebrating the olympians achievements.
Project: Chasing Frames: a partnership with Samsung & The British Photography Awards. 2024.​​​​​​​
This project, in collaboration with Amoveo, features a collection of award winning photographers exploring Samsung's Galaxy S24 Ultra. The series of 6 short films showcase the photographers work, their differing styles and how it's possible to use the phone to spark creativity.
Project: Four in a Bed - Channel 4. UK wide 2021 - ongoing.​​​​​​​
Dan has been shooting and directing episodes of Four in a Bed ad hoc since early 2021. As a DV Director Dan captures the lively dynamics and unique personalities of the contestants as they showcase their hospitality. The shoots involve a combination of filming actuality and sit down interviews.
Project: Meet The Superbrains. Discovery Channel Documentary. Worldwide 2015.
For nine months Dan was part of a team that travelled the world documenting the stories of visionary entrepreneurs who developed products with the potential to change the world. The project consisted of producing six hour long documentaries following a range of stories including, Italian engineers who designed a groundbreaking water purifying device in Italy and rehoming in Ghana, Africa. They also had an inside look at cutting-edge technology at an AI driven startup in New York. They filmed groundbreaking experiments with the Large Hadron Collider at NASA's headquarters in Washington as well as having the opportunity to film the birthplace of the World Wide Web at CERN in Geneva.
Graduating University in 2013 with a Bachelor's degree in Television Production.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
During Dan's three years at the University of Bedfordshire, he honed his skills as a camera operator, gaining hands-on experience and mastering techniques that laid a strong foundation for his career in the media industry.
